All Saints’ celebrated its Harvest Festival 2007 with a theme of ‘Harvests from around the World’. The church was open to the public and provided tea and coffee as people looked at the various displays.
Pictures drawn from pupils at Kaye’s School gave their take on Harvest.
A stall selling Traidcraft products highlighted the need for just trading.
Other exhibitions provided details about the village and its history.
A short video on the ‘old village and its people’ was shown.
And of course there were the wonderfully inventive flower displays based on the theme of Harvests around the World.
The exhibition was followed by ‘Harvest Supper’ in the Darby & Joan and the whole weekend was topped off with the Harvest Festival Service on the Sunday morning.
